Local sports club Mucklagh FC have raised over €50,000 with the help of FundMajor, a leading online fundraising software platform developed by local company Dotser.

With over 40 teams and 200 participants, Mucklagh FC organised a 12 hour Soccer Marathon which took place over the weekend in the Mucklagh Community Centre.

The local organisers used the Fundmajor platform that allows the public sponsor a team or participant and donate an amount of money to this worthy cause which has developed a green field site in Mucklagh into 3 full sized pitches and is destined to be a huge asset to the community for generations to come.

Participants can share a sponsorship link using social media, text, or email, inviting their circle of friends to make a donation for the campaign.
