GAA clubs using the FundMajor fundraising software platform recently broke the €3 million mark for money raised using the mobile friendly web application.

The FundMajor software platform was initially developed to help raise funds for Club Faithful, the supporters club for Offaly GAA and has organically grown through word fo mouth due to it's phenomenal success in effectively raising money for clubs and charities.

The online platform was used to manage the voluntary groups website, membership and donations and in recent years has evolved to manage their fundraising events which have included their sponsored walk, Grand Canal Walk.

So successful was Club Faithful's first event that the county wide Offaly organisation supported requests from other Offaly clubs to use the platform. Word spread quickly within GAA circles and groups from other counties wanted in on the platforms success.

The FundMajor platforms success is in it's simplicity. Setting up an event could not be easier with the Fundmajor team setting up the campaign using the events logo and branding. The club or group can log in, easily add the participants by creating profiles and the campaign is ready to go.

Typically the club and participants will launch the event online using the groups network to share across WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & TikTok. The power of the mobile platform allows it to reach both the club diaspora around the world and the local community. Administration and collection of sponsorship could not be easier with a full record of all moneys and donations recorded.
